A two-time national amateur champion in England and the first boxer to win an international gold medal for Somalia, Ali's talent finally took center stage when she turned professional in 2020. History continued as she became the first female to compete in a professional boxing match in Saudi Arabia. February 2023 is a memorable fight for Ali when she took home the IBF inter-continental super bantam title against Avril Mathie.
