jessa khan

Cambodian-American phenom Jessa Khan has quickly become one of the biggest stars in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and submission grappling.

The 21-year-old athlete was born in Texas, but she has represented Cambodia internationally and made history for the nation by capturing gold in jiu-jitsu at the 2018 Southeast Asian Games.

Khan continued to show incredible promise in her teenage years, earning major championships at almost every level, including multiple IBJJF World Titles as a juvenile, a World Title as a purple belt, and a European Title as a brown belt.

In late 2020, she was awarded her black belt from the legendary Mendes brothers at the famed Art of Jiu-Jitsu Academy in California. And after some initial growing pains, Khan broke out as a truly dominant competitor by winning gold at the 2022 IBJJF Pan-American Championships.

That victory paved the way for even greater success, as Khan reached the top of the jiu-jitsu mountain by claiming her first IBJJF Black Belt World Championship in June 2023.
