Nicknamed "El Gato" (The Cat), Jack Catterall is a force to be reckoned with in the super-lightweight division. Making his professional debut in 2012 with a points victory over Carl Allen, Catterall quickly established his skills, securing a first-round knockout win in his second fight against Johnny Greaves.
Throughout 2016, he continued to solidify his position with three consecutive decision wins. In April 2017, Catterall delivered a dominant performance against Martin Gethin in what would be Gethin's last professional fight.
Later that year, his relentless pursuit of championship glory led him to challenge British champion Tyrone Nurse. Catterall showcased his boxing prowess, capturing the coveted British light-welterweight title via unanimous decision. However, he later vacated the title to pursue his sights on the prestigious WBO title. Between 2023 and 2024, Catterall has had 3 wins, all unanimous decisions.
