Callum smith

Callum Smith comes from a true boxing family. The four Smith brothers have all boxed professionally under the Matchroom stable at one point in their careers. With Callum regarded as the most talented fighter in the family, the Liverpudlian certainly has a lot to live up to.

Smith turned professional in 2012 and has had a glittering career with world championship victories and historic fights that will cement his legacy as one of the best fighters to come out of Liverpool and the UK.

Winning the World Boxing Super Series in 2018 against fellow Brit George Groves in Jeddah brought Callum the WBA and WBC world titles. Smith has gone on to successfully defend these titles twice before facing pound-for-pound icon Saul Canelo Alvares in San Antonio, where he gave the Mexican one of his toughest challenges to date. In 2019, Smith defended his WBA super world super middle and WBC diamond super middle titles against John Ryder with a unanimous decision win. His most recent win against Mathiew Bauderlique becamehis twenty-first knockout to date. Callum has since moved up to Light-Heavyweight and is on his way to challenging to become a two-weight world champion.
